Reflection on the Third Grading Period
I've encountered a problem in placing the different tags. I also had a problem on ending the tags.
I addressed these challenges by double checking if I had typed the correct tag. When I don't really know where I had wronged, I'll ask my classmate to double check my exercise.
Moving on, I will remember this tags for me to create a web page.
“New Year, New Me”
New year is the time at which a new calendar year begins. It’s a new year again, it came so fast that we didn’t noticed. It’s again another year for us to hope for another successes. There were new clothes, sometimes new gadgets, and a new me.
New year reminds us the happenings from the past. We reminisce the things that had happen, the mistakes we had done. For me, I go back to the things that had happen where I’ve done something, either good or bad. I go back to where I had mistakes and then learn from them.I take note of the bad comments people said about me, and try to improve myself in the coming year for them to like me more. When I’ve done something wrong to a person, I’ll try to apologize to him /her before the year ends, so that I will have no worries in welcoming the new year. I don’t need to change myself totally for I also consider those people who have liked me for who I am even if I don’t change anything on me.
New year, another year God gave to us so we must be thankful. Another chance for us to be good to other people in any ways. We must not change totally just for some people to like us. Let them accept you for who you are before and now that you’ve slightly changed for the better.

Keeping in Mind Our Mother Tongue
Our mother tongue is the language we are using from the time we learn to speak. Its basics are usually learned from our family.Good skills in native language are essential for further learning, as native language is thought to be a base of thinking. Incomplete first language skills often make learning other languages difficult. Native language has therefore a central role in education. Children who go to school with a strong foundation in their mother tongue develop stronger literacy abilities in the language used at school. When parents or caregivers are able to spend time with their children and tell stories or discuss issues with them in a way that develops their mother tongue vocabulary and concepts, children go to school well prepared to learn the language of their immigrant country and succeed educationally.
Learning our mother tongue is a first step to our wider knowledge. Even if we are in different places, we must not still forget our mother tongue for even how far we go or how long we’ll be away, we will always go back to our native land for it is where our real happiness is.

The Essence of Christmas
Everyone wants Christmas to be meaningful. Christmas is definitely the season for gifts and shopping. During Christmas, a lot of people go to malls to buy various gifts to be given to their friends and loved ones. People just need to spend more during Christmas season. The effect? --traffic jams, growing credit cards, debts, lots of to-do lists, etc.
Too much materialism in the world has diminished the true essence of Christmas: that of the coming of God our Father's son, Jesus Christ, into our world to save it from sinfulness and shame. Christmas has been trivialized into Santa Claus, his reindeer, Christmas lights and trees and toys and goodies to bring cheer to human kind on this festive holiday season.
As we celebrate Christmas in the relative comfort of our homes, let us not forget our brothers and sisters deep in misery over the loss of loved ones in battle; in accident; illness or crime; those languishing in prison; those with barely anything on their table to fondly remember the passing of this happy day and our fellow Filipinos abroad who have to toil and labor this Christmas.
Though we may not all have the resources to share with our less fortunate brothers and sisters, let us remember them in our prayers and masses this Christmas and let us extend little acts of kindness that will help them feel loved and cared for in this very important Christian celebration. For after all, we are God's people and our Father in Heaven looks at all of us equally.
The true essence of Christmas relies not on the gifts which commands us to spend more but on the love and unity that each one should build. Spend less to gifts and more on relationships!

"Equal rights, Equal Opputunities"
As we all know, Philippines is not only known for its beautiful spots and famous men but is also known for inequality and discrimination especially women and the youth. Many Pilipinos are now having their rallies, especially in Metro Manila, mostly government employees, to express their feelings about their job. Many woen, especially thse girls at their teen age, were raped or discriminatewd but they can't have the justice for they are afraid. The indigenous people also have their rights not only the rich.
People must not only have equal right, but also equal opportunities. Opportunity to show what they've got. To prove that they are not that nobody but can be a somebody that can prove something to everybody.
This situation calls for the establishment of equal rights and commensurate opportunities under the law for all citizens -- with special attention given to children, women, indigenous and others that have the right to have rights and opportunities.

"Responding To Climate Change"
Changes always affect human lives. The most common change on Earth is the Climate Change. Climate Change, affects more than just a change in the weather, it refers to seasonal changes over a long period of time. Example are the change in the usual timing in rains and temperatures can affect when plains bloom and set fruit, when insects hatch and when streams are to the fullest. Extreme weather events like typhoons, floods, landslides, severe El Nino and El Nina events, drought and even forest fire can strongly affect different sectors like agricultural, fresh water, coastal and marine resources and health. Some observable properties that there is Climate Change is when areas which are not flooded before are now extremely flooded. When even if its March, there are strong typhoons.
But we can lessen the effects of this Climate Change by these easy tips. First tip, instead of driving a car, walk or bike, for cars and trucks run on fossil fuels, which release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The second tip, use compact flourescent light bulbs. This energy-efficient bulbs elp fight Climate Change becvause they reduce the amount of fossil fuels that utilities burn. Third tip, recycle and use recycled products. Products made from recycled paper, glass, metal and plastic, reduce carbon emssions because they use less energy to manufacture than products made from completely new materials. And the last but the most important tip, is to plant trees. Trees absorb Carbon Dioxide from the air and use it as their energy source, producing Oxygen for us to breath.
These tips are just small things but if we all work for it, we will soon find it easyto decrease the effect of Climate Change.

My Reflection: 2nd Grading Period on ICT IV
I've learned a lot. I've learned that a web page is composed of many different tags. And so, when I created a web page, I had problems where I will insert the tag. I've learned the uses of different tags, and many more. And on this Second Grading, we focused on hands on activities. But sometimes, internet connection fails and so, others just spend our ICT period in playing solitaire or hearts.
Moving on, I will remember the lessons I've learned in this second grading period and I hope I can create my very own web page.
